Hanson American Legion Post cleaned up the site "some years ago." Bronze marker was ordered to mark the site. Legion planned to fence site and get highway historical marker.

Associated with Trinity Lutheran of Wendell. The cemetery is divided by a road. The part on the west (in Sec 20) dates from 1905 and on the east (in Sec 21) from 1891. In 1922 the Wendell Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church merged with Stony Brook Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church to form Trinity.
